- What types of vehicle can you arrange funding for?
-
We can arrange finance for any make and any model of vehicle.
- Why not go to one of the major dealer groups?
-
We are often able to be more competitive than the major dealer groups because we have negotiated special terms directly with the manufacturer. We then shop around many different funders in order to find the most competitive prices for our customers. Our prices are always competitive and it is rare for us to be beaten on price.
- Why not go straight to the funder?
-
The discounts we negotiate with manufacturers are often superior to those given to the finance companies, allowing us to be more competitive. Plus, we search around a dozen different funders in order to get the most competitive price. This means we can tailor all quotations to your individual requirements and guarantee a competitive rental.
- Do you take part exchange or can I use my existing car as a deposit?
-
Sorry, no at present we do not have facilities in place to take your existing car as part exchange, nor can we accept it as a deposit or in place of the initial payment.
- What is included in a maintenance contract?
-
All routine servicing and maintenance costs are included as well as replacement for fair wear and tear items. We can send you a copy of the maintenance contract if you require further details. We recommend that maintenance is only considered when your annual mileage exceeds 20,000 miles per annum.
- Where would I get the vehicle serviced?
-
Generally at any franchised dealer. All our Contract Hire funders have servicing accounts set up with the major garages, and their customer service lines can give you full details on nearby garages.
- What happens about insuring the vehicle?
-
You or your company must comprehensively insure the vehicle for the duration of the contract.
- What if I want to hand the vehicle back early?
-
All contracts state that an ‘early termination fee' is payable if the vehicle is handed back early. This is based on the market value of the vehicle when you want to end the contract, the mileage covered and the number of months left for the contract to run.
- How does the excess mileage rate work?
-
At the end of the contract period any mileage over the agreed mileage will be multiplied by the excess rate and invoiced to you.
- Will I be able to purchase the car at the end of the contract?
-
Most of our funders offer the option to purchase at the end of the contract. The figure is based upon the mileage covered & market value of the vehicle at that time.
- Are there any additional fees?
-
In most cases no, delivery is included, as is Road Fund Licence & Manufacturers Warranty, however some of our funders do charge a "finance acceptance fee" or "documentation fee" which you will be required to pay before taking delivery of the vehicle. These fees vary from funder to funder.
- Who's name will appear on the registration document?
-
In most cases the Funders name will appear on the Registration Document as essentially they still own the car & you are simply hiring it from them for an agreed term. The majority of insurance companies cater for this, however, should you find it difficult obtaining an insurance quote or insurance cover, please contact us & we will be more than happy to advise you.
- Will you match any other quotes that I have been given?
-
We believe that we have some of the most competitive rates in the market, however, we do appreciate that we can't always be the best on every product. Although we don't operate a "price promise" as such, we are always happy to look at any genuine quote that you've been given and do our level best to beat it (where possible, please supply a copy of your quote).
- What condition does the vehicle have to be returned in?
-
All of the leasing companies/funders that we use abide by BVRLA guidelines, visit www.bvrla.co.uk for a detailed overview of the industry standard T&C's
